OIP Sensor Systems was founded in 1919 and quickly established a reputation as a high-tech optical manufacturer. Based in Oudenaarde, OIP Sensor Systems has pioneered in electro-optical technologies, such as fibre optics, lasers, night vision and holography.
In the ‘80ies, a Space Department was created, which has been involved in the design, development and manufacture of optical instruments for space applications, such as imaging spectrometers for planetary and earth observation, cameras for navigation and instrumentation for science missions.
OIP Sensor Systems can look back at a nice portfolio of Space Instrument realizations that had successful flights on several missions (Spacelab IML-1/2, XMM-Newton, Cluster-II, Mars-Express, Venus-Express, Integral, Rosetta, Envisat, Meteosat, Teamsat, Herschel-Planck, PROBA-V, EXOMARS, etc).
“We strongly support this event because we are actively recruiting engineers for our Space Programs (camera for Lunar Landing missions, ALTIUS imaging spectrometer, …) and we want to show young people that an exciting future in the Space Sector is possible, even close to home!”
Working at OIP involves lots of opportunities to grow and learn. We want to stay at the forefront of technology and are constantly searching new frontiers to explore. Whatever your technical discipline (electronical, embedded software, optical design, mechanical design, aerospace, manufacturing,…) or career discipline (sales, accounting, program management,…), we can offer you challenging projects with great colleagues in an international working environment. Together we make tomorrow a better and safer place.
At OIP Sensor Systems talents are always in high demand. Visit our website for more information about current career opportunities: https://www.oip.be/careers/
